Our production line

It seems that nothing is easier than making a stick out of wood.
So everyone thinks, looking at this simple product. But in order for a simple stick to be smooth, smooth, clean, without bumps, roughness and notches, and also meet all the standards of the food and medical industry, it is necessary to produce on an industrial scale with modern equipment and proven technology of the entire process. We want to briefly tell You about the applied production technology, as well as the tasks that are solved during technological operations, and the technological solutions developed.

The raw material for the products is birch wood. Why this particular type of tree?
There are several reasons for this:
— birch grows on the territory of our region;
— its wood is easily processed;
— does not have a clear woody taste and smell inherent in coniferous wood species, which can go directly into a food product;
— has a therapeutic and aesthetic effect.

The products are produced by peeling wood and further stamping.
This method, as practice has shown, is more effective, since when it is used, greater productivity is achieved, as well as better characteristics of the product itself.
Separately, I would like to note that when using this raw material and this method, chemical bleaching of products is not used.

Manufactured products go through the entire production cycle in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documentation, including input control of raw materials, materials and components; operational control of technological operations; testing and output control of products; packaging and shipment of finished products.
Each stage of production is monitored by a quality control specialist.
OTC specialists check the product for compliance with technical SPECIFICATIONS and customer requirements.

Production stages

Input quality control of raw materials

The fundamental principle of the company’s work is the use of only selected raw materials.
Birch wood is purchased from trusted suppliers, and upon acceptance of raw materials, compliance with the requirements established by law, availability of documents on quality and safety, and compliance with the requirements established by the contract are checked.
Wood is accepted only when it is Mature and healthy, with no defects specified in the contract.
Optimal conditions for storing wood reserves have been created to prevent its spoilage.

Preparation of raw materials for veneer production

Woodworking begins with sawing the ridges into chocks, then the raw materials are subjected to hydrothermal treatment and debarking.
The hydrothermal treatment process is regulated and strictly controlled by a specialist

Peeling

Chocks, peeled from the bark, are cut into veneer with peeling knives. The thickness of the veneer is set depending on the type of product produced.

Stamping (cutting) of blanks of products

Veneer is fed to machines for cutting down blanks of sticks by types and types.

Drying

Blanks of sticks are loaded into the drying chamber, where the hot air drying process takes place.
This process is very important, as improperly dried products will have a high percentage of defects.

Galtovka (grinding) primary

Galtovka is a technological process of mechanical processing of products.
Dried to certain parameters, the products are placed in a tumbler drum for primary surface grinding of the products.
As a result of this process, possible defects are eliminated when cutting down workpieces – foreign particles, chips, notches, burrs, and the side and end surfaces are smoothed.
When grinding, a higher quality of processing is provided.

Automatic sorting

Products are placed in the acceptance bins of automatic sorting machines that reject defective
(non-compliant) products.
Large single deviations, macro-roughness (bulge, concavity), as well as small, periodically recurring irregularities (undulation and micro-roughness) are rejected.)

Manual sorting

With manual sorting, product defects are identified visually by personnel, and selection is performed manually

Edge processing

Automatic milling machines process the edges of products to give them a smoothed shape, which is one of the important indicators of product quality, its safe use by consumers and aesthetic perception.

Product logo design

The logo is applied to the surface of the products by hot stamping.
This method involves using a different matrix (cliche) for each logo.

Galtovka secondary

The products are loaded into a tumbler drum for finishing polishing of the products. The products are driven relative to each other in the working capacity of the drum.
As a result, the flat surface of wooden products is finally formed by friction — a given roughness is given.
A very important process is the dedusting of products, in which microparticles of wood dust that have settled during the passage of products through all stages of production are removed with the help of aspiration installations.

Optical sorting

The use of automatic sorting equipment with an optical recognition system allows you to multiply the speed of sorting products. At this stage, products are selected according to several criteria: chromatism, width, length, thickness, narrowing, chipping, longitudinal bending, lateral bending

Packing and packaging

Finished products are delivered to the packaging lines, where the products are packaged in consumer packaging:
group:
– cassettes held together with paper tape. Paper tape is held together by automatic application of glue
-cassettes held together with laminated paper tape. Laminated paper tape is bonded by automatic thermal bonding
– LDPE bags, with the possibility of packing different quantities of products.
individual:
– individual paper packaging. It has three-sided sealed gluing with the use of glue
– laminated individual paper packaging. It has three-sided sealed bonding by automatic thermal bonding
– a case made of BOPP film. It has three-sided sealed bonding by automatic thermal bonding

Packaging logos

The logo is applied to the packaging of certain types of products by flexo printing.

Quality control

Checking products for compliance with technical documentation and customer requirements.
The company considers the quality of its products to be one of the most important indicators of its activities, since quality is a component of product competitiveness.
Product quality control is an integral part of the production process.
Product control measures cover the entire production cycle.

Quality control refers to checking that the quality characteristics of products meet the established technical requirements.
General quality assessment criteria are set out in the regulatory documentation — technical SPECIFICATIONS.

The control includes:
– input quality control of raw materials, main and auxiliary materials, components, tools.
– intermediate production post-operational control over compliance with the established technological regime
– acceptance
– systematic control over the condition of equipment, cutting and measuring tools, stamps, production conditions.
– quality control of packaging and storage of products in warehouses
– quality control of products intended for export
– accounting, analysis and classification of defects in production
– analysis of claims and complaints.

Control is carried out by:
– masters by systematic random traversal;
– supervisors by periodic circular detour of assigned workplaces

Marking

Drawing of relevant information on each tar product unit in accordance with regulatory documents and customer’s wishes

Storage

The packaged products are placed in transport containers, palletized and sent to the finished product warehouse, where they are stored at the specified temperature and humidity until shipment to the consumer.
